ADDING to the Give-a-way!

I have some fun news to share with you about the giveaway of the "Glimmer Mist" tags.....
Sandy Redburn, the owner of Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage has offered to add one each of the Boy and Girl Chipboards to the give a way!!! These are so new, the packaging isn't even finished for shipping to stores yet! Now that's NEW! They will be hitting the stores this summer, about the time of CHA. SO... What I've decided to do it extend the give a way until next Friday, JUNE 1st.

So from now until then, I will put your name in for every time you comment. And the winner will get the glimmer mist tags and both the boy and the girl chipboards~! Thanks Sandy!

This has been a busy week so far and it's just starting. I took mom to her eye doctor appointment in Omaha this afternoon. It was nice chatting with her on the way. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet mama!
It was a Taco Bell for dinner, sorta night. lol When I got home , and check my email,

I saw this
"Craft Critique" (fun blogs to visit).... and I had request for 2 altered projects from "Paper Trends". I had two layouts picked up from "Scrapbook Trends" yesterday, so it's been a good week. I needed to get it in gear and start submitting again, because I was really slacking in the dept. It seems like the day goes by so fast , there's just not enough time for everything.

Ok... nothing major to share today, just a simple little chalkboard I found at the junk/treasure store for 25 cents. Dressed it up a bit with some Fancy Pants Papers , ribbons , chipboard, lace and rubons.

This is all from the "Aged Florals" line.

I mixed paints to match the colors of the papers and then just rubbed them onto the wood edges, let it dry,and then added the floral rubons. I LOVE these rubons!

I thought it would be just the right side for my mom to hang next to her phone for messages.

Okay,...until tomorrow! Take Care!
And a huge thanks to all you new girls that have commented and emailed! I've enjoyed looking at all of your blogs and hearing from you! It's always fun to make new friends!

Love the rubons. They are so great for placing on an area that has a rounded surface.

I love what you did with the little chalkboard. I just picked up a package of 12 at a yardsale on the weekend for 50 cents. They only measure approx 2x2 but I figured they'd look good on something down the road. lol
