AccuCut Accordian Tag Book

All I can say , is it's a good thing it's been cloudy and icky out the last few days, or I'd really be sick of being in my room "The Class Kit Factory" lol by now. But I've gotten alot done , ..so I'm feeling pretty good about it.
But you know me, I cant seem to get through the day without some sort of "happening". Today, I was cutting ribbon, and realized my scissors where not cutting well because the were gummed up with adhesive. Instead of just taking time to get the "goo gone" and clean them.. I went to the closet and grabbed a pair of scissors from my class stuff. I don't know if it's because I wasn't used to them, (or maybe because I was cutting like a crazy woman)...but I took a big piece out of my middle knuckle on my left hand. Freaked me out at first.. I wont go into detail ,but it was icky!!! Jarad came in from the garage and looked at it, and after we both assessed , there was no way they would be able to stitch anything back.. I just bandaged it ,and went back to work. Stupid thing, would not quit bleeding. I needed to get back to "kitting"!!! grrr... so with no band aids in the house , big enough.. I did one of my "Vicki style" haphazard ...make do.. stop the bleeding , get back to work Wraps! ( A folded paper towel and lots of scotch tape!)... I did use Antibiotic ointment first.. lol ( Jarad told me , maybe he should take my "big girl scissors" away, and get me some of the rounded tip ones) Thanks Jarad!
And ....back in business!
Some time ago, I had found these little boxes at the $ store, and they work perfectly for holding all the parts for this Clear Accordion Tag Book Class.

Here's a little peek at the Class Project
I used Accucut Accordion Tag Die T10466CQ
And the clear Acrylic is also from Accucut
The flower pieces in the front are cut from felt and clear acrylic.
The stamps are from Magnetic Poetry.

I'm almost finished with class projects and then I can get back in my routine. I have some fun stuff coming up to share with you. Some fun news and also a really fun give-a-way to tell you about soon.. so check back!

Ohhh, sorry about your hand! That sucks, especially on the hand where it's hard to heal from being used so much. Your project is still really cute tho!

Forgot to mention your cut...hope it's doing better. My son took off a chunk of his finger once, and your right if there's nothing to sew back together it just have to rejuvinate itself. Antiobiotics is all you can do!
