Time for a give-a-way!!!

After posting my altered cigar box yesterday, I thought it might be fun to do a give-a-away with that theme, so......
all you have to do , is comment any day between now and Friday, August 31st, and I'll put your name in for the drawing. I'll draw that morning and post the winner.
*************************************************************************
I'll put all these goodies into this chipboard box and sent it off. The papers are Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage (you can see all they're beautiful papers HERE). I've included one each of the fun sheets of Crowns and of the butterfly wings also. Some vintage lace, rick rack, trims, vintage sheet music, flowers, keys, buttons, tickets, and other ephemera.
Some fun stuff to get you started on a box of your own. Just post a comment and I'll put your name in the hat! Should be fun!
Well, as you may know if you have been reading my posts lately.. my big fam, is home for my nieces wedding this upcoming weekend. It's been so fun to spend time with them. We are going to dinner with my sis , brother-in-law and mom tonight, so I'm looking forward to that.
Amanda at ScrapMuse was kind enough to let me take the month off from my Design Team obligations, so that I can spend time with my family, and catch up on some things. I so appreciate that. Sometimes life gets so busy, and you just have to stop and enjoy family because family is what's really important. I'm enjoying every minute of the time I'm getting to spend with them.. and I'm looking forward to seeing EVERYONE all together this weekend at the wedding. YAY! Anyway.... the point I was getting to was that this months ScrapMuse kit was SO Amazing... It was killing me to walk by it sitting here and not be able to do something with it... so this morning I played just a little. I did this layout with this photo I took of some of moms peonies in one of her old canning jars. I don't know why, but I just LOVE this photo.. it's just comforting to me.
The stamps I used are the new "Frame It" stamps from Crafty Secrets.

You can check out the August ScrapMuse kit here. Check out the gallery to see the cool stuff the DT did with this kit. Oh... and look at this............ Lana Rappette blew me away with this altered license plate project! HOLY COW... how fun is that!! ( I"m really loving it, with that "Nebraska" license plate she used)

I LOVE the layout with the pic of the peonies - My Mom has peony bushes and we always had them on the kitchen table in a canning jar :) - I have tried to grow them down here but not much luck - I am on the second batch, had to dig them up and put them in pots on the porch - hopefully I have saved the bulbs and maybe they'll come back....
LOVE YA - MEAN IT !!!
