So much to share!!!

The first thing I did this morning is draw for the winner of the Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Giveaway. ... and the winner is

Kathy McD

Congratulations Kathy!!!

and thanks to Sandy Redburn (owner of Crafty Secrets) for making that give-a-way possible.

Now I get to show you the fantastic kit I got to work with this month for Scrap Magie

I'm so honored to be Guest Designer this month... with my friend... Miss Vicki Boutin.

Her projects with this kit are amazing! You can check them out here!

When I opened the box, and saw this kit, I was thrilled! Everything in it was gorgeous. You know how you, see certainly papers and embellishments, and you just immediately want to start creating? This was it for me! Loved it.

I did this little Maya Road house, (of course with a "home" theme)... yeah.. brilliant , I know. lol

It was the first time I had worked with Grungeboard and I loved it so much, I ordered more.

lots of fun stuff in this kit.

I painted the backgrounds of my book with a wash of a brown acrylic paint first, and then added papers and embellishments from there.

The photo of Brent and Nathanial was taken my Diana, but I just loved it so much, I had to ask her if I could use it. Does that boy adore his dad or what? Such a great photo!

After inking my grungeboard pieces I stamped on theme with the Fontwerks grid stamp.
I also spritzed some coordinating colors of Glimmer Mist.

I cant believe how well the Grungeboard takes the ink. I just rubbed my CatEye inks right over it, let it dry a bit and then stamped.

I decided to frame this layout I did of Neely and Ryan and give it to my sister for Christmas. I took this photo of them on Thanksgiving when Ryan was home from Denver.

The frame was just a Goodwill frame, I put a whitewash on and altered with paper strips and the rubons that came in the kit.

I think she liked it. (But every mom loves pictures of her kids right?... so I couldn't go wrong)lol

Speaking of ... pics of your kiddos. Everyone was home for dinner last night. Here's a photo I snapped of Jarad and Katy. Wes was off the hook this time. lol

Okay... go now.. and conquer the day!!! lol

Great ideas on the little house! Love the colors you always use. I mostly scrap my grandson and don't get to use pinks and greens so much. Love the pix of the family and the house, great shots.

Got my money back for the CPU and now looking to have one custom made. Hope I don't get ripped off; no one seems to offer money back guarantees if it doesn't work! UGH!

You are one prolific lady! And everything you touch turns to gold (with a little touch of Glimmer mist, lol!) I love your house book. One of my creative goals this year is to make a Crafty Secrets house album for my mom for Christmas. I'm slow, so I need a big head start!
