Winner is../ and tussie mussie swap

First of all ... as I promised... I drew a name for the winner of the giveaway and it's

Check out Karlas blog if you get a chance.. it's wonderful! THANKYOU ALL for playing along!

I got so caught up in the day yesterday , that I didn't even get my blog post for the day in. I took down the bathroom and mudd room curtains and washed them... which meant I had to IRON them. ICK! I dread that! I did get quite a bit done around the house today, so that felt good. Wes cam home this afternoon ... and we spent some time, transferring old videos from the camcorder tapes to discs. We have been talking about doing that for a long time, so I'm glad we're finally getting it done. It's going to take a while.. I know, but at least we're working on it. We ended up getting so caught up in the old videos of when we lived in the old house, the kids were little , and the dogs ...just pups. I just kept thinking , as we were watching... "the time has just flown by"! We all got some laughs.. ( and of .. a few tears also)

I'm so glad we are getting these movies saved and organized.. so we will have them to look back on again down the road.

Wes stayed for dinner. We had Chicken enchiladas.. and they were mighty fine , if I do say so myself. lol It was a really nice evening.

I worked on these Tussie Mussies this weekend, for a little swap I'm doing with Catherine and Shawn.

The stamps on the tags are Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps.

this cute chubby little bird is one of my absolute faves. The crown is a separate stamps ,but part of the set. Bird Notes

buttons, buttons... always buttons! Love em!

There's the other one.

I was loosing light.. .. so these aren't great shots , but there are some closer shots below.

I used the Heidi Swapp ghost butterfly shapes for this one. I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist and let them totally dry. After they were dry, I layered them, and glued the smaller one on top of the larger one.

I also used Glimmer Mist on the lace , and let it dry, before added it to the cone.

I had so much fun, cutting inking and layering these flower pieces out of vintage sheet music.

Hope my girls like em.

Hope your day is wonderful!

This tussie mussie is beautiful.I have been trying to make the cone and I just can't seem to get the sides and the bottom to meet together. I can't find a pattern that lets me know the dimentions for the cone. Do you have a pattern you use. I'd love to make large and small ones but nothing I do works. Many, many thanks. pj
