Canada ...eh!

This week has gone SO fast, I cant believe I head home , and leave this beautiful place tomorrow.
The weather has been just perfect every single day I've been here. On previous trips I've seemed to catch the rainy time... but not this time. It just could not have been more perfect.
lol.. so here I am enjoying the ferry ride to Victoria Island yesterday. (maybe I could get a job as a Canadian tour guide??) haha

I had never been on a fairy.. and let me tell you.. I was so loving it , I could hardly contain myself. Cindy , Sandy and I , left early in the morning

(before daylight) to catch the first fairy, so that we could spend the day in Victoria.
The ride was beautiful!!!
(photo above is from the the evening though)

this is from the morning

Butchart gardens was just amazing!

Sandy and I.

I seriously could have spent all day just here...taking photos.

Pretty amazing flowers.. and every different kind you could imagine.

The day was just so fantastic.. I cant thank the girls enough for making it so totally special!
I'm not ready to leave yet... whaaaa...

Oh Vicki, you give me the best giggles. "I had never been on a fairy..." ? LOL! You've made toooo many of those cute little fairies that you forgot you were actually on a ferry!
I'm sorry. I don't mean to laugh. It was just such a perfect play on words for you!
The pics are BEYOND gorgeous! I especially love that peach colored round one. WOW!

Your pictures of BC are amazing. I am not a lover of being on the water but I think I could muster up the courage to ride that ferry. The flowers are beautiful-was the one pictured after the rose a dahlia? Gorgeous! I'm sure that being so close to the water was a real treat for you....Nebraska is so far from large bodies of water. Thanks for the travelog!

You made me smile. I live on Vancouver Island :) I too *love* Butchart Gardens and catching the ferry is so second nature that I forget how fun it is to catch it--the simple things--thanks for the reminder.

I too love B.C. I've been there a few times, and I'd still love it more each time. When I was in my early 20's (many years ago) two friends and I went to B.C. for the first time. We picked up a hitch hiker and ended up staying at his place. Later when I returned home I went to the immigration office in Chicago to get info about moving there. Well, I didn't have the money, skills , or family to get me there, so I wrote the guy from Vancouver asking him if he knew of anyone that would marry me so I could move to Canada, "you know no commitment", just a way in. Oh my gosh! Well... he didn't, so here I am still in Illinois. Thought I'd share that with you. Your photos are wonderful! Aren't the flowers up there gorgeous?! Thanks for sharing. Deb
