*Giveaway* and Halloween projects

Halloween Projects....

I've been digging through (one of my) boxes of things to be altered.. and found
this tin. I decided it was what I would alter for todays Halloween project.

REMEMBER: Friday I will be drawing a name from whoever posts HERE

for the person who will win one of the Halloween Image and Journal Books from

Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage. >>>>>>>>>>>>

I'll be drawing early Friday morning.

There are so many great images in each of these booklets, it's hard
to choose.

I decided to make some little note cards to go inside my tin.

So , here is the tin and four little note cards.
I should have taken a photo fo the insides of the notecards. I used words and journal spots
from the book to add to the insides for a place to write and sign.

Isn't this image darling? I decided I'd to her up the way I did those fairies, by using a wooden spool. How easy is that? lol

I'm finally catching up on some things around here since I got back. Slept better last night too!! I'm also thrilled to say that my brother-in-law, who has been very sick and in the hospital , is doing better. YAY!
I've been working on a mini album with the "Cowboy" photos of Griff. It should be finished soon, so I can share it here. It will also be a kit for Scrappy Gourmet.
Hope all of you are enjoying your day!
a bit chilly and fallish her today. (I broke out my slippers) ha

**ps... sorry my blog set up is all wonky. lol all the stuff along the side is now below the posts. I think the slideshow was so wide , it had to adapt. This happened once before. Rather than remove the sideshow, I'm sure once it moves to the second page, it will all go back. Here's hoping anyway.

Vicki, that little girl is the cutest thing ever! I love the tin idea and will be looking around to make one for you from my books. You have such clever ideas! Jealous, oh yeah. Glad you are settling back in and the news on your end is positive. Fall is breaking out in Maryland too and I can't understand it being so early. Hellooooo can we all say where did the summer go?

Love all your great ideas--lots of inspiration to be found here!

And so very happy that the kitten has been adopted--thank you for being so kind and loving to it and providing it a bed and nourishment until a suitable home could be found! All my kitties have come into our home as strays--people drop them off near here, too (in PA)--and they have been some of the most loving pets you'd ever hope to have!

Blessings!
Deb

You're getting me in the Halloween spirit, even if it still is in the 90's here in TX! That tin is so cute and so is the darling little girl on the spool.

The little notecards in the tin are a cute idea but I am in love with the spool fairy-I've been making some fairies, too. It's addictive! Hope your BIL continues to improve.
