Crafty Secrets DT "New Product" Challenge

*** First of all.. so I don't forget about announcing the winner of the "Summertime" giveaway.. the winner is....... Kathy/North Carolina
Congrats . email me your mailing info and what size flip flops you want S, M, or L. Thanks everyone for playing along .. and remember I'll be hosting a giveaway for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L in my next post.

Now.. on to the "New Product" Challenge with the Crafty Secrets Design Team. We are all excited about the new things well be showing off at CHA at the end of the month. You've had some sneek peeks at these over the last few weeks..but today our talented Design Team is going to share even more. So here we go....
I choose to do a layout using this "My Dear Grandma" image from the new Double Sided "Birds and Blossoms" Creative Scraps. (see below)

You can see both side here. These used to be one sided..but now they will be twice the fun for the same price. ($3.50) So now you have even more even more beautiful images to choose from.
(The single sided sheets are now reduced to $2.50) Here

I also used this new "Bonjour Merci" Medium stamp set. I used these stamps to create borders and add to my floral design , only stamping with black ink.

Once I did my stamping , I went back with my "Souffle" pens from SAKURA and added a little color here and there.

I love that I could use this stamp set to "build" with like this . (even though..there is nothing "French" about this layout. lol My Gram is ( second from the left). She was a South Dakota girl..... ..not even close to France. lol
Gorgeous stamps though huh? I know this is going to be a set I use alot!
When I look at a stamp set like this my mind instantly starts thinking of the different ways the individual pieces could be used together to create different looks. Lots of possibilities. Really fun set!

I added a little bit of Glimmer Mist around the edges of the patterned paper "Shaped piece" (shape is an AccuCut die).

Ribbon , Brads ect.. from Creative Impressions for the most part ( gem brad from Creative Imaginations, and Fabric brad from K & Co), chipboard pieces from Tattered Angles.

The flowers are a mix of different ones..but the little white ones.. are pieces from some old jewelry.

The Design Team has all there beautiful creations posted today for you to see, so you'll want to pop over and check them out.

And be sure to check out the Heartwarming Vintage blog for a new CHA sneek peek and get your name in for the giveaway!
