Well, if you haven't heard the news, guess what??  Crafty Secrets now has a Halloween CD!  It will be the same price as their other CD's, but then they will also have some digital downloads for sale in their etsy store :)   You can read all about it HERE.
Here is one of the things I just made with papers, images and elements from the new CD. There are so many great things on this CD.  I have always LOVED Crafty Secrets Halloween Goodness.. so I'm a happy girl!
It's hard to get the idea of the size of this here, but you can see better in the photo below this one.  it's about 13x13.

I love altering and re purposing  things. This was a quite unattractive wood plaque from Kmart, on clearance for $1.  It's a great sturdy piece of wood.  Always watching those clearance tables :)

Lots of different words, saying and frames on this CD also.  The image is printed in black. So I printed it once on the green background and then once on the orange so I could cut out her dress.  The rest of the orange is colored with a Tim Holtz distress marker.

I'm loving that printable black lace.

Sandy also has a big announcement about the company and sale prices, so please check it out in this post on the Heartwarming Vintage blog.

Really... how much explaining does this photo really need?
Guess who??
First time I've really regretted buying "double rolls" of TP.  lol
I swear I was in the shower for 5 minutes... and this is what I come out to find.
She has more toys that most 4 year olds..but NO.. toilet paper is much more fun.
No more leaving the extra TP in a basket on the bathroom floor, it is now up on the counter.
Thankful at this point it wasn't anything worse.  ( oh.. did I mentions she did get Dans favorite sleep pants also?) That's another story.
Lets just say.. it's going to be a LONG time before Daisy stinker is left alone in this house... when she'd not in her kennel. lol
We did invest in a big wire kennel for her to be in when I have to be gone..thank goodness.
Puppies... gotta love em.   Good thing they are so darn cute! lol

Thanks for stopping by friends!!
Have a great day!

Oh, yes - I remember it well! When our puppy was left on his own the first time he managed to climb on the table and remove the spare car keys from their hook and demolish the remote control! Slightly more expensive to replace than TP but we still love him and he has stopped destroying things now. Love your Halloween canvas.

How I *WISH* you had a hidden video camera so you could post the actual fun that Daisy had with that double roll of TP! That must've been MANIC, and I am sure would have garnered millions of hits on YouTube. My brother-in-law's brother (got that?) filmed his Golden Retriever rocking out to the guitar, posted it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBluUZ4NnZg) and it got more than 8 million hits, and earned him a couple of TV guest appearances!! Your Daisy can be a star too!!! :)

My dogs make this sort of mess with fuzzy batting when a new stuffed animal makes an appearance in their toy box, especially if it has a squeaker.

Fondly,

P.S. Love the canvas and the repurposing of the hideous Walmart plaque!! Thank you for making the world a prettier place!!

I would love it if you did a video tutorial on digital stamping for those of us who are uninitiated. With Sandy moving to all digital images, it would really be helpful. You seem to have taken to it like a duck to water. Your project is so cute.

Oh, dear....Daisy will have to be in her kennel when you shower. Sounds like separation anxiety. Glad it was just TP and not one of your gorgeous projects! Have a great weekend, Vic!

Crate training is always a good thing. She needs lots of running! You forget how much energy they have. Like kids! Love your card sweets!

You are right Kathy, that's a great idea and we are going to create some tutorials. Each of our CD's #1, 2 and 3 have a step by step tutorial by Patty , the Digital Scrapbook Teacher using Photoshop Elements to create a layout page digitally but I think we should have one also using a basic free program that anyone can download and show some simple steps like re-sizing and using a PNG file to layer over a piece of other paper, etc. I'm not sure if you will see this message so I will email you but I thought other might be interested in this as well. Also, remember - you can simply use the CD's and open and print papers and images. On this project Vicki printed a bunch of the papers and then printed the witch on the green paper and printed her again on orange so she could cut out her dress and paper piece it. All of the papers around the sides are just papers she printed and glued on, so she didn't really use any digital techniques. I will be posting a bunch more projects this week on our blog as well.
Thanks for your suggestion!
