Crafty Secrets DT Challenge

I'm home... and starting my first blog post off with something fun. Today is the Crafty Secrets DT Challenge project upload day.

That means ... each of the girls on the Design Team, posts the projects they made for this "Birthday" Themed Challenge, and we all link to each other, so that everyone can see all the projects.
I know these talented girls will have some amazing things to share, so be sure to stop by their blogs (linked a bit further down in this post), and see they have been busy creating.
I did a couple of projects.. one before I left for TX and one I finished up last night. This Cupcake was done with a cute little cupcake form I found in the $1 bin at Micheals. I used my Accucut flower die and cut some flowers from the "Classic" Paper Pad from Crafty Secrets. I added those with regular straight pins with a little pearl bead added to it. The Stamped Sentiment is also from CS. The entire thing was then Misted with "Iridescent Gold" Glimmer Mist.

Here's what it looks like opened up.

Here is my second project. I used a free download that is posted HERE on the Heartwarming Vintage blog to make this crown. ( I cut the bottom of mine a little longer so that the image would fit better). The papers are from the "Radiant Paper Pad" and the Image is from the "Girlfriends" Image and Journal Book.

Here is a list of the DT members participating in today Challenge.
TX was great! Alot of fun.. a successful show .. and such nice people.
Here are a few photos of the Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Booth.
I did make and takes and the other end of the booth.

It's always fun to see all the amazing samples the DT has created with the product.

It was SO busy during the show.. I had to try to remember to take photos of the booth before the show.

I did make and takes at the booth for the most part , but the first two days I did a large make and take in the larger area in the afternoons. Thing were already wrapping up, by the time I snapped this photo. Things move so quickly.. sometimes it's hard to get to my camera and get it done.

My friend Sarah was at the show and offered to help me out with passing things out for the make and take. I so appreciated her help. Thanks friend!

Then I was back to the booth for make and takes. I have to say , I love meeting new people while doing these make and takes. This little girl was so fun. She was so creative! She wanted to try it all.. and did a fantastic job with it all!

Lots of people eager to try out the product and create something of their own.

I wasn't as good about digging my camera out , as I usually am... but I did snap a few shots. I got to see some blog friends at this show, who live in TX.. and that was great. Sorry to say I don't have photos of them all...but it was defiantly great to see them. I did have a photo of my friend Susan and I ..but it didn't turn out. It was great to see you all!
I was so excited to get to go to dinner one night with Charlene and Joanne. We had a fantastic dinner and chatted it up for hours. I had a great time! Thanks girls!

Seafood! and it was such a gorgeous place too. ( Have to get the name from Charlene... because I cant remember right now) My little brain can only hold so much information.. an there has been alot going on this past week. lol

I do remember... drinks, dinner and conversation was perfect! lol

The last day , we pack everything off and headed to the next show..then we headed out to dinner here, with Miss Melissa Frances and her hubby to be.. Brian. What totally nice people.

Best part of it all when I'm working these shows for CS is...... I get to spend time with my friend Sandy (and Scott too). They are like family to me.. so everyday is a good day when I'm working with them. We always have ALOT of laughs!
I miss them already.
Now.. unpacking , laundry.. all that is calling my name .. so I'll stop for now.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Missed you all. It always feels good to be home too.

Sounds like a great trip! You should be inspired to do a "laundry" theme for crafting purposes tomorrow! I'd be curious as to what you'd do with it!

SUCH FUN WAS HAD BY ALL! I can still taste that yummy fondue & my martini! I posted about our fun today too. It was so much fun visiting with you. I still smile when I think of you getting sooooooooooo excited talking about creating stuff & how to spray the glimmer mist. Hee Hee. And YES! I plan to take you up on the offer of a visit to Nebraska. I want to sit & have creative time with you. What a blast that would be. Glimmer Mist watch out!

The cupcake is awesome and so is the crown. I would love nothing more than to go to a show like that, but unfortunately due to health problems it will never happen so I have to enjoy it by your beautiful pictures and your great updates. Keep it up.
Thank you.

It was so good to see you again and to observe you in action at the 'make and take'. I'd be glad to hand out your almost confiscated glue sticks and scissors anytime. :D
