Giving Thanks..........dress it up

You still have time to make this yummy pumpkin bread before Thanksgiving.  I have been making this for years and it's my very favorite.  Super easy to make and freezes great!     If you have some special people you are thankful for and would like to give them a thoughtful gift this week, here is a fun way to dress up some little loaves using Fancy Pants Designs "True Friend" Collection.   Or they would be fun to dress up just to take were ever your going for Thanksgiving :)

For these little bands around the loaves I cut two borders and stitched them together.  I used Accucut Borders #4

The Fancy Pants "True Friend" Collection has so many darling pieces of coordinating ephemera , buttons, stickers ect... it's easy to put simple tags together in a flash.

Another tag. The bow on this one is my Accucut bow die BOWS VC106

Here is my recipe for Pumpkin bread/or Muffins

Pumpkin muffins/bread
3 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 (15oz cans) pumpkin
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinn
1 tsp nutmeg
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
Combine all ingredients and mix with electric mixer. Pour into muffin tins or loaf pans sprayed with non stick spray. Makes 3 large loaves or 3 dozen muffins.
Bake at 350
Bake loaves approx 60 minutes and muffins approx 30 minutes

Wishing you all a great Thanksgiving!!!
