To have and to hold card

Hey friends!  Hope you are all doing well.  It's been so gloomy and rainy here for so long, I'm holding my breath just waiting for some sun shine.  Enough is enough.  Give me some sun :)

I did receive something fun in the mail to brighten my week tho.  And it was a total surprise! I had no idea that Tammy Tutterow had some new stamps and dies in the works, until they arrived on my door step. Thanks Tammy!
I made my first card with them today.
Isn't it just a sweet set?
So many different things you can do with it.

Pink & Main

You know me.... I'm not a super fancy marker girl.  Here is all I used to color this card.  I added some clear gems to the cake.( if you are wondering with the dots are).
I love using foam squares to raise up the accent pieces once they are colored and cut out.  Sure adds so much dimension to the card.

I have to say that it's been great to be able to be in a boot now and have the case off.  I don't feel like I'm home bound as much.
This past week, I got to spend one of my first times out, doing something super cool.  Weston was recognized for the work he did for his community during the flooding.  You can see it here on the news . CHANNEL 7

I have to grab family photos when I can.  With the guys working opposite days, it's a challenge. Kate had a meeting that might so we wasn't able to be there.  Amy and her mom attended as well as my sis and brother in law.  It was so nice.

Super Proud of both boy and all they did.  Jarad is a volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT for his small town also.

Since then I also got to go see the band "Chicago" at an outdoor concert with Wes.  (NO rain that day... YAY).

The rain ( and a little sun) got my Lily of the Valley blooming, so that's a plus.  I love them. So sweet, and they remind me so much of my childhood. They don't last long, but I sure enjoy them!

Hoping all of you are enjoying a wonderful Spring!

I'm working on a new project that I'll be back to sure shortly.

Thanks for stopping by!
